According to me, the title of the article suggests that the author will portray his beliefs against competition. He may argue that competition does no good to the progress of an individual.According to me the spirit of competition can bring out the best in a child provided that it should be healthy. However, competition can bring down the performance when it becomes overwhelming. It lacks motivation when one participates in it.
